Dina has over 36 years of experience as an educator, author, and public policy consultant. She holds a Master’s in Education and has guided schools and organizations in building compassionate, effective systems of support. She also brings her personal caregiving experience supporting her mother through Alzheimer’s, which fuels her commitment to helping families feel prepared, supported, and understood.

Dina has devoted more than 36 years to education, leadership, and public policy. Her career includes service as an educator, author, and consultant, where she guided schools and organizations in building compassionate, effective systems of support.

Her personal journey into eldercare began when she became the primary caregiver for her mother living with dementia. That experience deepened her passion for ensuring that families facing aging transitions never feel alone, unseen, or without resources.

Lori is a licensed health insurance professional and certified yoga instructor with over 30 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance consulting, and wellness. She integrates her background in mindfulness and advocacy to help families navigate care and life transitions with confidence and calm.

Lori’s journey into eldercare consulting was inspired by two deeply personal caregiving experiences—one with her mother, whose thoughtful planning ensured her father aged with dignity, and another with her father-in-law, whose complex health needs demanded advocacy, resilience, and adaptability.

With a strong foundation in wellness, advocacy, and benefits consulting, Lori offers a compassionate and practical approach to supporting families. She is passionate about helping others feel empowered and supported through life’s transitions, always bringing strength, dignity, and hope to the process.

Next Steps Puppies

Through daily walks with their dogs, Ella and Brody, Next Steps was born from conversations about caregiving and family. Today, Ella and Brody remain a joyful part of the team, a reminder that every journey is easier when you’re not walking it alone. Together, Dina and Lori are dedicated to empowering families with clarity and compassion as they navigate the aging journey.
